With the doom and gloom of covid-19 beginning to lift, the vaccination roll-out going well and the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions underway the team have been giving some thought to what that means for re-opening the Hub. All of the below if of course subject to any changes in regulations however this is how it stands; |
Phase 1 : Outdoor Hospitality |
Hospitality is to be permitted to open outdoors only from Monday 26th May. We have considered carefully what this means for us and to begin with have agreed to open on only a small number of days for outdoor drinks. Initially these days will be; Sat 1st / Sun 2nd / Mon 3rd May : 13:30 – close Sat 8th / Sun 9th May : 13:30 – close Sat 15th May : 13:30 – close Sat 22nd / Sun 23rd May : 13:30 – close Tue 25th May : 18:00 – close Sat 29th May : 13:30 – close |
Phase 2 : Neyland Community Gym |
The Gym will be available again from Monday 3rd May. As before lockdown the policy will be one user at a time. Slots must be booked in advance and can be booked here. Please note the access control system has been upgraded during lockdown and your access token will no longer work. New ones will be made available to all members before the 3rd and details of how to exhange your access token will be emailed to members directly in due course. |
Phase 3 – Community / Sports Hire and Bookings |
Based on the regulations as they stand we envisage being open for community and indoor sport bookings from the 17th May. Anyone wishing to book the hall just needs to register – please email [email protected]. Once we’ve set up your account you can log-in and book online here. (Click ‘Members Login’) |
Next Period |
We’re obviously really looking forward to using the rest of our amazing faility in earnest, inluding the bar. As soon as regulation allows we’ll be open and we’ll let you know. |
That’s it for now but as always if you want to know anything further in the meantime please don’t hesitate to give me a shout. I look forward to seeing you at the hub next month. Thanks, Paul |
